Bridget Brandon brings 30 years of equine industry knowledge and experience as a top testifying and consulting expert witness and has been qualified in both Federal and State Courts. She has testified in depositions, jury and bench trials, has assisted in mediation and has often been asked to locate other specialized experts for attorneys. She works on both liability and valuation cases and serves both defendants and plaintiffs. Not only does she bring her knowledge and experience with horses as an expert witness, she brings a wealth of professional experience as a former marketing strategist and business development executive for fortune 100 and 500 companies. Bridget’s passion for horses, confidence in her ability to provide unbiased and accurate opinions to the court, consistency throughout the entire legal process, strategic thinking, and her ability to educate the court on specialized facts makes her an excellent expert witness. The need for an Equine Expert Witness Firm with top specialist and a collaborative culture led Bridget and Sara Ballinger to develop the concept of The Equine Expert LLC.

Bridget bought her first farm in 1992, where she boarded horses and began a boutique warmblood breeding business. She has owned two other farms where she grew her breeding business, boarded retired show horses and allowed trainers to come in and train boarders and trailer in students. Bridget’s farm was one of the main locations for the German Oldenburg Inspection in North Texas for many years. Bridget has been a judge for the North Texas Hunter/Jumper Club and other local hunter/jumper associations for many years.

Bridget showed competitively on the USEF AA circuit in hunter/jumpers, dressage, eventing and breed classes. She owned the #2 ranked conformation hunter in the country, Sinners Prayer, who was featured on the cover of The Plaid Horse and in the Chronicle of the Horse. She was the High Amateur/Owner Zone 7 Champion in St. Louis after being the only clear round on course. Her dressage horse, Kiss This, was the High Point Champion at the Houston Classic Dressage Show. Bridget now enjoys riding miles of trails on her AQHA stallion and attending Parades and other events with the Pilot Point Posse. She is also a member of the Brazos Valley Hunt Club.

In 2000, Bridget became a member of the American Society of Equine Appraiser and in 2010 she passed the USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practices) and is compliant on appraisal regulations. She is Senior Certified with the ASEA and is a member of ASA (American Society of Appraisers) and is working on her senior designation with ASA. Bridget has her Property and Casualty insurance license and is a field agent for Marshall Sterling selling equine and Farm and Ranch insurance.

• Texas Hoofbeat Cover Photo - Kiss This (Out of Berry Sweet XX and by Rainbow Han), bred by Bridget Brandon, on the cover of Texas Hoofbeat. Kiss This was awarded premium at the GOV inspection. She had a successful career in hunter breeding winning a zone year-end hunter breeding division in St. Louis. In Dressage she was exceptionally talented at half-passes, and she was High Point Champion in Katy, TX. Kiss This retired as a broodmare with her last foal receiving Premium status and awarded Foal of Distinction at the GOV Inspection.
